It's time to come clean and show our true faces, update and inform our advocates and devotees what has been going on behind cloaked veils both in the studio and in our lineup ranks . . .
We would like to announce that Simen "Vortex" Hestenaes is not a part of Code and will not be taking part in the forthcoming album.
After successfully performing live with Code during the phenomenal shows this last year, the band have resolved to continue working with original vocalist Kvohst.
Those who have come to appreciate and love our rare, avantgarde and unique first album 'Nouveau Gloaming,' will completely understand our need to continue where we left off and keep the integral spirit of the band and our music intact. It is a real pleasure to have the old, true lineup working together again.
Kvohst has already finished writing and recording the vocals on the new album and we have set a date in early October for the final mix with the release coming this winter. All we can tell you for now is that it sounds astoundingly necrospiritual and essentially Code!
We will update you with song titles, lyrics and perhaps even some samples in the coming weeks . . .
We thank you for your support and dedication . . .

Curtains down - 28. August, 2008
We will be playing live at club Willemeen in Arnhem, the Netherlands on the 17th October as part of the Aurora Infernalis Fest. Also playing on the 17th will be Icelandic legends Solstafir and V:28 from Norway. Gehenna will be headlining the following day.
This will be the last chance to see code this year and indeed the final performance based around the Nouveau Gloaming album. We will be returning to the stage next year to promote our forthcoming album due to be released in the winter.
Live Brutality - 27. July, 2008
We will be playing at the Brutal Assault festival in the Czech Republic on the 16th August. Come along for another dose of Nouveau Gloaming
Update time again… - 29. May, 2008
We have just come back from the mix at Studio Fredman and the album is sounding monumentally killer. Unfortunately continued schedule problems meant that the vocals did not get recorded in time so we will have to return to finish those off later. Adrian completely devasted the drums for this recording and Vicotnik has manageed to really outdo himself with his most inspired bass work yet. I think we have all raised the bar with this recording and we are itching to get these morbid hymns out to you.
Many thanks to those who came to see us at Bitterfeld a few weeks ago, the blazing sunshine did its best to dull the atmosphere but I would mark the show down as a success all the same. Ultra metal hails go to the guys from Solstafir and Tyrant for making the weekend a total blast for us all.
We are working on a couple more dates over the summer in various places in Europe, more news on those when they are confirmed. For now though enough to say that anyone at Brutal Assault in the Czech Republic in August should get a chance to catch us again.
More as and when.....as above, so below
New Album - 23. March, 2008
