Nick Thompson writes: I attach a picture for your collection. It was taken on Friday 4th September 1964, at Salisbury. The train is the last 'fast' Atlantic Coast Express on arrival there, hauled by 35022. I think the driver is a Salisbury man who worked up to London in the morning and took the 11:00 back as far as Salisbury. |
